The Marvelous Frazier Squad’s blog

The week of March 18 was a blast. Especially because on Sunday it was Saint Patrick's day. Are you still adjusting to daylight savings time? Well the Frazier Squad read an article about daylight savings for homework. Our prompt to write about was “ Do you think we should have daylight savings or not?” Another thing that happened on Monday was library. In library the Frazier Squad finished up there book trailers and got to show to the class what they’ve been working on for a long time. On Tuesday we had P.E. and watched two video for the fitness test. One of the videos was about crunches, and the other was like a warm up rock, paper, scissors class vs. computer. Everyone would watch the screen and play rock, paper, scissors and when the next slide came on you would know if you tied, lost, or won and you would have to do the exercise that was either under tied, lost, or won. Yeah, it’s Wednesday and a short day. Mrs. Frazier had to go to a meeting, so our substitute teacher was the amazing Ms. Whales. We learned about the 13 colonies in social studies. In English Language Arts (ELA) we read an article from someone's perspective on the Natives that captured her and her kids. It had a lot of things from her note book in the article. So we got to focus on learning bias. Bias is like someone's perspective. Or looking through the eyes of someone else in history. Wow it’s already Thursday. Mrs. Frazier was in another meeting so we got to have another incredible substitute teacher, Mr. Crown. We did some review of the states and capitals of the Northeast states for our quiz on Friday. Were going bit by bit on learning all the 50 states and capitals because it will seem overwhelming to learn all of the 50 states and their capitals. We also got to race our dry pasta cars down the ramp. We spent 4 days building, and planning, and rebuilding, and making adjustments to our car to make them go the farthest they could and to make sure the car wouldn’t crack under pressure. Well, remember to quiz your kids on their states and capitals to get them all ready for Friday's test. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
